The Right Person

In my opinion, the best thing you
can do is to find a person who
loves you for exactly what you are.
Good mood, bad mood, ugly, pretty,
handsome, what have you, the right
person will still think that the
sun shines out your ass. That’s the
kind of person that’s worth
sticking with.

Yeah, had him, let him go. Ah the ignorance of seventeen!

  2. I loved Juno. Enjoyed it even more the second time when I watched it with Tom and those were my favorite lines in the movie, too. Thanks so much for your awesome comment at my blog today, Fawn. Ditto, ditto, ditto what you said. 🙂 I think both of us have had to do lots of unlearning from our early years and relearning and learning for the first time and will do so for the rest of our lives. But then, thank-goodness that learning is great fun. Thanks so much for reading my blog–only a handful of people I’ve met in real life read it, so it means a great deal when I discover that someone like you is following it. Hugs, Debra

Yes. It appears we’ve both had a lot of unlearning to do. The older I get the more I unlearn. It seems to be speeding up. Which I think is a good thing. I guess we spend the first part of life learning everything we can. Growing up is probably more about unlearning than anything else. So glad you’re a fellow traveler on that journey too. It makes my heart glad and gives me hope.

  3. P.S. And oh my goodness….. You can come and move in anytime!! 🙂 Or at the very least, do come visit. You’ll always be welcome. …D.

Actually, I’ll be in your half of the world next week. I’ll be in NC, then NYC, then Maine. Don’t think I’ll make it into Upstate though – which I think is where you are. But thanks for the invite. 🙂

      • Hey! We’re only a mere 470 miles (or so) from NYC. Just a tiny detour, really. 🙂

But! If you’re ever near Niagara Falls I’ll absolutely expect a visit. The Falls are just around the corner from us, in fact, Naomi works only yards away from them. So remember: Niagara Falls = a visit to Debra’ and Tom’s house. 🙂 heh…….Debra
